I didn't learn until a year into our relationship that he was a vampire - he cried as he told me about everyone he'd outlived, friends and family alike. I decided then and there that I would stay by his side, even if he tried to push me away. He deserved some semblance of happiness after all the tragedy he'd suffered. After a time, we fell madly in love and married. We've just moved to Moonlight Falls. Our house isn't the best, but it's good enough for me because Levi is with me.
He thinks I haven't noticed all the times he disappears to the library in search of any information that could lead him to a possible cure.
He doesn't say it, but he's frightened of outliving yet another loved one.
